What is School?

   What is school?

School is for learning new stuff, and giving children an education so that when they grow up they would know what to do. In NZ kids attend school at the age of five, they leave school at year 8, and then they attend college. In college you learn science and other languages, but in school you learn math, writing, reading, and measuring. So to me I think that school and college is a bit different but inside they are the same.

Sports

School lets you learn how to play sports and when you grow up you could join netball, rugby, volleyball, and basketball and lots more. If you are really good at that sport you could be in a real team, maybe you would be the captain of that sports or maybe not.

Learning

At school we learn math's, writing, reading, and lots more, when we’re young like only about 5 years old we learn how to count to one hundred first and then we grow up and we learn takeaways and times tables, then we learn divided by's but divided by's are a lot more different then the others,  when we get much much more older like in year 7 or 8 we learn decimals. But I learnt decimals in year 5, so I guess you can learn it at a different age.
