This is a photo of my work, I learnt decimals in year 5, and this is a experiment to see if I would remember how decimals work, I only remember a little and this is mostly all I can remember about decimals, I also got a 4/4 so yeah I think I done great.

Biosphere 2

Biosphere 2 is a experiment place that is another place like Earth but they are experimenting how Earth is, for example, they are growing plants and making a coral reef with the actual water, and a beach, Earth has that. They are making another place like Earth, here are some facts about Biosphere 2

Special Visitor

At assembly today June 19th at Point England school we had a special guest named Joseph Parker, Who is the heavyweight champion Boxer. Who was born 9th January 1992, So that means he's 28 years old, he weighs 112 kgs, he has only one child and her name is Elizabeth Ah- Sue Sala Parker. He said a lovely speech saying “nothing beats hard work”.

This week team 5 was learning about temperatures, and how decimals work. It was pretty hard to learn but when you get used to it you would know how it works, I didn't really understand it, but my friend helped me.

Lockdown Experience

So since lockdown started me and my family been watching Netflix and Youtube, we would always settle down because we were watching movies and my nieces and nephews weren’t at our house so we didn’t make a big mess.

 My favourite time of lockdown was probably, when I had the TV to myself because usually I would have to watch action movies because my father and my brothers mostly always had the TV, but sometimes they would watch comedies so that was pretty funny.

 My least favourite time of lockdown was when I had to stay home with my siblings, because they are so annoying sometimes, and since I’m the youngest child of 7 I can’t just tell them to get lost. My cousin and his partner would always stay over too, they are so nice, they bought lots of snacks and yummy megurine noodles which are my total favourite noodles. 2 days after lockdown I got butter chicken from Otara which is my favourite food in the whole entire world from my parents. I love them. 

 THAT IS HOW QUARANTINE WAS IN OUR HOUSE, HOPE YOU HAD A LOVELY TIME

Matilda Part 6

Part 6 Miss Trunchbull attended school right before the incident yesterday she found a ribbon and the only person in her class that wears them is MATILDA. Miss Trunchbull told all of the student's to "LINE UP NOW". She said to the students"look what I found at my house last night, WAS IT YOU, WAS IT YOU" she shouted. Matilda started to use her powers on the chalk and the chalk board she started to write like Miss Honey's dad was writing on the board and Miss Trunchbull thought it was a prank and started to get scared. she grabbed Matilda's BFF and started to grab her but Matilda made her go up and down so Miss Trunchbull couldn't get her after that she then started to throw lunch at her and she ran away.

 The next day Matilda decided to give Miss Honey her doll from when she was young and said “here I went back and scared her now she is moving out so there is your house back”. She was so happy she cried and Matilda gave her a big gigantic hug. She walked home with Matilda and asked if she can adopt her and the parents gave Miss Honey permission.

 SO MATILDA AND MISS HONEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Matilda Part 5

Part 5

Matilda did not tell Miss Honey about her having the doll because she knew that Miss Honey would get worried and she already had enough in her life so Matilda just kept it to herself.

Next day after school Matilda headed home and waited for her family to sleep, so she can sneak out and into Miss Trunchbull’s house and scare her because she was so disrespectful and so that Miss Honey can have her home back. She waited out the window on the garage roof and started moving frames and scaring Miss Trunchbull, she ttok some chocolate too. she acted like the frame of Miss Honey’s father is talking and he is dead so obviously she’ll be super scared.
That night Matilda felt proud, but she didn't know what would happen next......

Matilda Part 4

Part 4

 The next day Matilda walked to Miss Trunchbull's house and sneaked in with Miss Honey. She was so curious that she walked in the house when Miss Trunchbull was gone. She tried taking the chocolate without messing any of it up and left because she heard Miss Trunchball coming back. Matilda found out that she was scared of black cats so that's a surprise. She gave some chocolate to Miss Honey, and Miss Honey asked where she got it from. Matilda said that she got it from Miss Trunchbull's house (technically Miss Honey's House) and Miss Honey was so shocked because it is really dangerous and that Matilda might get hurt.

 The next day Miss Trunchbull walked into class and said “who stole my chocolate?” “Was it one of you’s kids, WHO DONE IT?” She yelled. They all stayed quiet and didn’t make a sound. Miss Trunchbull got angry and left for her office and played with the darts.

 After school that day Matilda sneaked back into Miss Trunchbull's home. Matilda tried grabbing the doll. She grabbed it and was about to leave until she heard Miss Trunchbull coming again. Matilda hid and heard Miss Trunchbull was coming she started to run when she heard her near, she hid under the dining table miss came and lifted the sheet on the table but lucky Matilda stuck to the top of the table when miss Trunchbull left the kitchen Matilda ran out of the room and outside. She hid behind the statue in the bushes Miss Trunchbull came running out. She was good at shot put so she bought a shot put ball outside and threw it at the statue's head and the statue's head broke apart. Matilda was really frightened. When Miss Trunchbull left in the house she ran to Miss Honey’s home and gave her the doll.

Matilda Part 3

Part 3

 Miss Honey was so worried about Matilda, she told the kids to distract Miss Trunchbull so she can find Matilda, Miss Honey found Matilda and ran back to class and told her to sit in her seat, Matilda could not breathe properly in the chokey there was smoke everywhere in there and she was so scared. Miss Honey acted normal when she told Matilda to sit in her seat so that it is not obvious for Miss Trunchbull to realise. Matilda felt like she can feel her powers working so she decided to show Miss Honey, when Miss Trunchbull left, she showed Miss Honey and the students in there she made everything colourful.


That day at the end of school she and Miss Honey went to Miss Honeys House it was small, Miss Trunchbull is Miss Honeys aunty,when Miss Honey was young her parents died they were her bestfriends until she had to live with Miss Trunchbull in my parents home, Miss Trunchbull was really selfish that she made Miss Honey live in the little house that she lives in now, just so Miss Trunchbull can have the big house to herself, Miss honey always wanted atleast her chocolate and her doll that she really loved, That's my story said Miss Honey.

 Matilda felt bad and while she was walking home she had an idea. Her idea was to sneak in the house with her powers and get the things that Miss Honey wants, and so Matilda told Miss Honey, Miss Honey did not agree because it was dangerous and Miss Trunchbull will find out that someone stole her chocolate and she will sense the smell.

Matilda Part 2

PART 2

 Matilda was really clever, she had a lovely heart, her and Miss Honey became close friends fast. Miss Honey walked to Matilda’s home to give her the books that Matilda needs. Miss Honey knows that Matilda is very clever and so the books that were given to her were history books. Her and her family were watching television her father forced her to watch TV which wasn't very nice, at that moment the TV started to make weird sounds, and suddenly it blew up, the father of Matilda was so mad because his favourite show was on. At school Matilda wanted to see if she actually had powers, and tried to prove to the teacher that she did, she tried moving the cup of water on the table but it didn’t work, one of the students that was bff’s with Matilda put a fish in the cup, as soon as she done that she saw Miss Trunchbull and ran to her seat and stayed quiet, Miss Trunchbull was angry (as usual) she took the glass of water on the table and drank all of it. She didn’t even see if there was anything in the glass she just drank it. All of the students giggled and tried to keep super quiet, Miss Trunchbull was wondering what they were laughing at, and told them to "BE QUIET". One student stood up and told her that "there was a fish in the glass of water", "oh boy" Matilda said, Miss Trunchbull was so upset about it and started to yell and shout about it, she was so angry, she said who done it, nobody answered the question, so she assumed it was Matilda since all of those mean things her dad said about her towards Miss Trunchball, Miss Trunchball took Matilda to the chokey and walked back to Miss Honey's class.

Matilda Part 1

PART 1

 This is a story of a little girl named Matilda. She was adopted by these really mean people that only adopted her for the money, she also had a big brother named Michael Wormwood who was terribly mean to her, she always wanted to attend school, her dad owned a car store and he will always make it look fine but actually he just glued it. So while Matilda’s Dad was doing his cars he saw Miss Trunchbull. She was the principle of Crunchem Hall Primary School, and she asked him if he can take Matilda to school(A mean school). He said "yes" and told her about how she is such a nuisance to him.  Actually she is the one who done everything for them, but they were just so mean to her.

 Miss Trunchbull took her to the school and she was so excited until she saw the school it was old and there was a lot of kids that were scared of Miss Trunchbull. The kids reached class and sat down.
 There was a lovely lady named Miss Honey everytime Miss Trunchbull was not around she would always have these colourful worksheets but when Miss Trunchbull would come she would always put the worksheets down and all of them will turn grey, only because Miss Trunchbull doesn't like colourful things. So Matilda was pretty much having a hard time in her life, but Matilda didn’t give up. She kept working hard.

Mr Burt's Order Of Merit Award

Today during the assembly there was a lot of love going around for Mr Burt and his wife , Mrs Burt for his achievements, it was really heartwarming, and the year 8s were telling the students how lovely he is, and they were giving him some lollie leighs to support him, he had gotten the queens birthday, order of merit award for 2020. Everyone in pt england school wanted to congratulate Mr Burt for his loving heart and without him and his wife, I don't think this school would have gotten to go on all of those camps and trips, like kawaii island, year 8 camp, the pools, manaiakalani, year 5&6 camp, all of these and more would not have been possible without them both. He was so happy to know that he got the order of merit award and we should congratulate Mr Burt, he is also a member of New zealand. He took care of my older siblings who are now in their 20’s and some of my other siblings who are still teens. Ptengland School loves you and thanks for everything, we all love you.
